Now, the widely emerging 3D naked eye video technology actually uses the parallax barrier technology in visual illusion.
As we all know, when we look at a picture, the images received by our left eye and right eye are inconsistent, and the images received by our left and right eyes are finally imaged in our brain.
This parallax barrier technology is actually applied flexibly: the visual barriers of our left and right eyes are inconsistent. Located in front of the ordinary screen, it is composed of opaque layers and a series of precisely spaced gaps, so that each eye can see different pixel sets, so as to produce a sense of depth through parallax.
Disadvantages of this technology:
The viewer must be in the right position to experience the 3D immersion effect. Because the number of horizontal pixels of 3D video viewed by each eye is reduced by half, it will reduce the overall horizontal resolution of the image while imaging in our final brain.
This is why the short video angles of 3D naked eye video shooting all over the country are the same, and the video imaging of LED display screen is mainly high-power HD video.
This puts forward requirements for hardware and software of naked eye 3D LED display:
In terms of hardware: compared with traditional products, naked eye 3D LED display pays more attention to high refresh, high gray scale, high dynamic contrast and smooth transition of surface / corner; In addition, the playback server needs to be connected to a professional graphics workstation and configured with a multi graphics card frame synchronization card;
In terms of software: a more professional decoder is needed, which must be able to support the material mapping and correction function of special-shaped display carrier, and support the bottom optimization of high bitstream decoding;
Playing materials: there is also some stress. Selecting the main perspective needs to make three-dimensional structure according to the perspective relationship of the display shape, and the resolution is customized point-to-point. In order to ensure the best display effect, HAP format is recommended;
Technological progress: in recent years, in addition to the progress of software and hardware cooperation, the improvement of material production level has also played a great role. At present, the video manufacturing is polished according to the requirements of high-quality products. In addition, the artistry of structural modeling also makes it no longer limited to the traditional plane screen and has more imagination space.
